This fellowship group is for believers who struggle with living in the futility of our “old self.”  The purpose of this group is to remind us of the freeing truth of God’s grace.  We are to be “new in the attitude of our minds” and “put on the new self” as spoken of in Ephesians 4.  This group is for people struggling with addictions and even for those who are not!

As a group we have the opportunities to be courageous and share our own good and bad attitudes.  We strive to learn humility, be honest with ourselves and others, have faith, pray, and love each other.  We laugh and cry together!  We look at what our own attitudes have been, are presently, and are called to be.  When we choose to humble ourselves and love Jesus by keeping His commandments, how can our attitudes fail to change?  We become that new person, and then those around us will know we are His disciples by our love for one another.  My name is John Baker and I am the group leader for the “New-Self Fellowship.”  I travel a lot during the month, so our meeting dates change frequently, so give me a call to find out about our next meeting 855-6302!
