"Parents of Prodigal Teens and Young Adults."  We are Chuck and Maryann Makekau of Fort Walton Beach.  We host this fellowship group for parents to share their trials in parenting difficult teens.  The strength to weather such trials comes from knowing Christ, from  lifting one another in prayer, and sharing valuable insight with those who know your journey.  Teens troubled by wordly influence and rebellion are blessed by the intercessory prayers of loving parents - "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20

We have a son, Derek, who is 24 years old; and a daughter, Loren, who is 21 years old.  Please call and we will meet with you to hear your needs and concerns.  Even if the dynamics of this group are not fitting for your situation, we know of other community resources and would be blessed to put you in touch with those as needed.
